Connect through developer mode

Connect Soyla to ChatGPT.

Use a custom MCP connection. Developer mode must be available for your account and permitted by your workspace.

Step 1: Enable developer mode
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
Step 2: Create the Soyla connection
Open ChatGPT Plugins, select the plus, and name the connection Soyla. Enter https://v1.getsoyla.com/mcp and connect with OAuth.
Step 3: Choose access, then start a conversation
Sign in to Soyla and choose the brands and permissions to share. Add Soyla from ChatGPT’s tools menu and ask to see your posts.

Requests use your Soyla plan.

Pro includes 15 branded posts total and 30 image or caption revisions each month. Custom requests share the same post allowance. Unused monthly posts and revisions do not roll over. Direct caption edits are free.

Choose ChatGPT’s permissions.

Approving through ChatGPT authorizes publishing on the scheduled day. You can disconnect it in Soyla’s Settings → AI assistants. Captions, pictures and business information read by the assistant are shared with that app under its privacy policy.

Do I need ChatGPT developer mode?

Yes. This setup uses a custom MCP connection in developer mode. Availability depends on your ChatGPT account and workspace policy.

Does ChatGPT make the Soyla picture itself?

Soyla makes the post. ChatGPT sends your brief, checks its progress and opens the finished caption and picture for review.

Do requests made in ChatGPT use my Soyla allowance?

Yes. New post requests use your shared post allowance on Pro or your request allowance on Max, then purchased post credits. AI caption rewrites and new generated pictures use your monthly changes; directly saving caption text is free.

Can ChatGPT connect my social accounts for me?

Connect your channels in the Soyla dashboard. The assistant integration handles posts, your calendar and brand context; channel connection and account settings stay in Soyla.
