2. Information we collect

Account and profile

When you create an account we collect information such as your name, email address, profile image URL if you provide one, and authentication details (for example, when you sign in with Google or via email one-time codes).

Brand and content data

To operate the product we process brand information you provide or that we extract with your permission (such as website content, product descriptions, tone preferences), photos you upload, generated drafts, approvals, edits, and the planning choices you make while reviewing a week.

Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing metadata (plan, subscription status, invoice history references). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Technical and usage data

We automatically collect device and log data needed to run and secure the service: IP address, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, pages or features used, and diagnostic error logs. We may use cookies or similar technologies for sessions and essential security.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Soyla
• Authenticate you and protect accounts against abuse
• Generate and plan marketing content based on your brands and preferences
• Process subscriptions, invoices, and support requests
• Send transactional email (sign-in codes, security notices, billing updates)
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of use

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use customer content to train public foundation models for third parties without a separate written agreement.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, we process personal data under one or more of: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention), consent where required, and legal obligation.

5. Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• Infrastructure and processors — hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payment providers under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
• Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and Soyla
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required

6. Retention

We keep account and brand data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After deletion we may retain limited records for legal, tax, dispute, or security purposes for a reasonable period, then delete or anonymize them.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed storage of sensitive secrets such as one-time codes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong unique email and protect access to your devices.

8. International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries where we or our processors operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@getsoyla.com. You may also delete your account from product settings where available.

You can opt out of non-essential marketing email using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Transactional messages related to your account will continue as needed to operate the service.

10. Children

Soyla is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice.
