Privacy Policy — Soyla
Who we are
Soyla is provided by LoadHunter Inc. For privacy questions or support, contact support@getsoyla.com. This policy covers the Soyla teleprompter mobile app. The Soyla marketing website and AI marketing service have separate data practices described at https://getsoyla.com/privacy.
Your scripts and recordings
The app stores your scripts, script revisions, reading preferences, video and audio recordings, retake markers, and recording details in its private storage on your device. It uses these files to edit and display scripts, record and replay takes, and recover unfinished saves. The app does not upload this library to LoadHunter Inc. or operate a cloud sync service. No account is required.
Camera, microphone, and clipboard
Camera access shows a preview and records video when you choose the recording workflow. Microphone access includes sound in your recordings. Recording starts only after you tap Record and the countdown finishes. The app displays a recording indicator and a Stop control. You can change camera and microphone permissions in device settings. Prompt only requires neither permission. Scrolling follows the pace you set; the app does not use speech recognition. The app reads your clipboard only when you choose to paste.
Sharing and device backups
When you choose Share, the system share sheet lets you send a copy to a destination you select. That destination handles the copy under its own privacy practices. The app and sharing system may create temporary files to complete the transfer. Your operating system may include app data in device backups or device transfers, depending on your settings. Manage those copies through your device or backup provider. Opening a support or privacy link hands the address to your browser or email app; their data practices apply there.
Retention and deletion
Your local library stays on the device until you remove it or the operating system clears it. Deleting a take removes its recording from the app; exported copies and backups are unaffected. A failed deletion can be retried, and the app attempts to finish it after restart. An unfinished recording may be retained for recovery until you delete it from Takes.
Deleting a script hides it from the library and offers Undo. Hidden scripts and earlier script revisions can remain in the local database, including the version associated with a recorded take. To remove the entire local library, delete the app and its data on iOS (offloading alone keeps data), or clear the app's storage on Android. Manage existing backup and exported copies separately. Export important recordings and copy important script text before removing app data; we cannot restore your local library for you.
Analytics, advertising, and support
The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell your personal data. It does not send your scripts or recordings to AI services. If you contact support, we receive the contact details and information you choose to send, and use them to answer your request. Share only what is necessary. Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations; you can contact us to request access or deletion. Device backups, app-store transactions, and platform diagnostics are managed by their providers under their own settings and policies.
Security and your choices
The app uses operating-system app storage protections. Protect access to your device and backups. You can edit script text, delete takes, revoke recording permissions, and remove local app data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights concerning information you send to us; contact support@getsoyla.com to exercise them. We do not have remote access to your local library.
Changes and contact
If the app's data practices change, we will update this policy and its date, and provide notice or obtain consent where required. Contact LoadHunter Inc. at support@getsoyla.com for questions about this policy.
