Contact details

Add a postal address (optional)

Made on this device. Nothing you type is uploaded or saved to browser storage.

Your contact will appear here

A contact file to share.
A QR code people can scan.

How to use it

  1. Add the details you want to share

Enter a person’s name or a business name. Phone, email, website and postal address are optional. Include a country code if people will call from another country.

  2. Review the contact and scan the code

Check the spelling and numbers in the preview. Try the QR code with your phone: compatible apps offer to save a contact, while others may show its text.

  3. Download the file you need

Use the VCF for sharing a contact file, PNG for digital layouts, and SVG for printing. Keep the white border around the QR code and test your final printed size.

What the code contains

The QR contains the contact itself, not a web link or a hosted profile. Anyone who sees it can read the details. Editing this form creates a new code; it cannot change a code you already printed.

The contact file uses UTF-8 text and the vCard 3.0 format defined in RFC 2426, including its name and address fields. Scanner and contact-app support varies, so test your own devices before sharing widely.

For a code that opens a website instead, use the QR code generator.

Common questions

What happens when someone scans it?

A compatible camera or QR app reads the contact details and offers to save them. Some apps show the text instead. Try the code on the phones your customers use before printing it.

Can I update the contact after printing?

The details are inside the code. Changing them makes a new code, so you must replace the printed image. There is no subscription, redirect or expiry date.

What is the VCF file for?

It is a vCard 3.0 contact file. Open it in a compatible contacts app, or attach it to an email. The name and other details are the same as those in the QR code.

Are my contact details uploaded?

No. The contact and QR code are built in this browser. They are not saved to browser storage. Anyone who has your downloaded file or printed code can read the details inside it.
