# Make a post

> Request a specific post using Soyla's guided content formats.

Use **Make a post** when you need something outside your regular Soyla posts: an announcement, an offer, a hiring post, a customer story, or another timely update.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose a format">
    Select the card that best matches what you want to say. Formats are tailored to the kind of business in your brand profile.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the details">
    Answer the short prompts. Required fields and useful examples appear with the format.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add photos when needed">
    Choose an existing photo or upload one to **Your photos**. If people appear in a photo, confirm that they are OK with it being posted.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send the request">
    Review your answers and select the action to make the post. Soyla shows the request in Review while it works.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## After you send it

Requested posts normally take several minutes because Soyla writes, designs, and checks each one. You can leave the page; the request continues in the background.

When the post is ready, it appears in **Review** with the same approve, edit, fix, and decline controls as a regular post.

<Note>
  Your plan includes a monthly allowance for requested posts. The Make a post page shows how many asks remain.
